Less Is More week 110

Hi everyone, and a big hello to new member, Sathya.

Over at Less Is More this week, it's a one layer challenge with SPOTS and STRIPES.

I began by masking off a square with low tack tape, sponging the background with two colours of TH distress inks, then stamped the stripes and flowers (Hero Arts). The dots were made by inking with white TH ink through a mask and when ink is applied over the top it sticks to the white and darkens.

Hello everybody, the colour challenge at Inkspirational #10 is Shades of Green.  Green is such a lovely calm colour and I thought of leaves, so I've used this leaf set by Clearly Besotted..

Addicted to CAS #8 - WINGS

Hi everyone, there's a new code word over at Addicted to CAS! 

The challenge for this fortnight is being hosted by the lovely Florence who has selected the code word - WINGS. 

Here is my DT card. 

I was puzzling over what paper to stamp the little PTI aeroplane on to, and was going to use white when I remembered I had some "cloud" patterned paper, the banner was stamped separately onto white card and cut out and the card blank is soft blue.

One Layer Wednesday 130 and Less Is More week 109

Hi everybody, and a big hello to new member, Sally!

I've made this card for One Layer Wednesday 130: Centered Sentiment, using the Less Is More colour card   (2nd entry).

Inspired by the rather delicious looking doughnuts on the LIM cue card, I've used stamps from the Paper Smooches Sugar Rush set with Brown Archival ink, coloured with pencils and my new SU paper piercing template.
