Word Art Wednesday challenge 52

Hi everyone, and a big hello to new member Amy!

I wanted to make a card using last week's Scripture verse from Word Art Wednesday which is  Matthew 6 verse 21 "Where your treasure is. your heart will be also" but for one reason and another I didn't get to it last week, but here it is today.

I had in mind what I wanted to do but in fact it hasn't worked out at all like I originally envisaged, and seems to have acquired a "tropical" feel! But hey tropical is OK lol !

Stamps by Hero Arts, papers by Kaisercraft.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a good weekend and some nice sunshine!

This week Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge is to use an element of music and their Scripture verse is:-

"Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Ephesians 5:19-20

The music background stamp is by Stamporium and the verse is computer generated.

I would also like to enter this in Word Art Wednesday challenge.

Word Art Wednesday and Twist of Faith

Hi everyone, this is a card I've made for Word Art Wednesday, challenge 47. You can save the WAW free weekly word/scripture art to your computer and use it in your entry but are not required to do so as long as you use an encouraging or uplifting sentiment on your project.

The Scripture verse on this card is one provided by WAW a couple of weeks ago, which I've printed out and coloured with Victorian Velvet and Antique Linen inks and added some squares of paper from the Prima Almanac collection. The flowers were stamped on the same papers with black Stazon ink andstamps from Dots and Flowers set by Hero Arts. Card Candi in the corners by Craftwork Cards.

I would also like to share this card on Twist of Faith challenge, week 4. This is a very new challenge blog, a place to share your uplifting, healing, inspirational and scriptural card creations.

Thank you for stopping by!

Word Art Wednesday challenge 34

"In all things of nature there is something of the marvellous"

Hi everyone, this is my creation for entry in the Word Art Wednesday challenge 34.

Unfortunately I still don't have a printer so I decided to make something using my new stamp set, "Garden Silhouettes" by Sheena Douglas.**

I cut a piece of white card a little smaller than my card blank, added Tim Holtz Distress Inks using some Cut and Dry foam, stamped and cut an aperture. Then added some colour and more stamping onto the card blank and mounted the frame over the card with Pinflair Glue Gel.

I'm hoping to have time to post some more cards made with these lovely stamps.

Sue xxx

** TIP: I don't usually buy unmounted rubber stamps in sheets as its quite fiddly to cut them all out and mount them onto U-Mount which is what I have done in the past., but find its much easier to use Tack 'N Peel film on an acrylic block. You can use the other side of the block for your acrylic stamps.

Tack 'N Peel is a film which you can cut to fit your acrylic or wooden block and it's self-adhesive. Once it's stuck to the block, take off the protective layer and then your rubber stamp will stick to the tacky surface. When you have finished, you can take the stamp off and put it away and place the protective film back over the tacky surface. You can keep the surface tacky by rinsing it with water and air-drying it which preserves the adhesive layer so the stickiness can be restored a number of times.
