Blue butterfly

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good week, and enjoying the sunshine!

My card was made using distress markers and new marker spritzer to create a background, the sentiment (HLS Bold Birthday Sentiments) which I've used for the first time - heat embossed in white, the butterfly (HLS Butterfly Birthday) is heat embossed on vellum and coloured on the back with Promarkers.

In the lane ...

Hi everyone, I hope you're well and having a good day!

At Merry Monday, the theme is Sparkle, Bling and Shine and here's what I've made.

I've done some inking, masking and stamping, used a glue pen here and there to adhere some glitter, heat embossed the sentiment in black sparkle embossing powder and used Glossy Accents for my "shiny moon" (a little hard to see in the photo!).

Another little birdie!

Hi everyone, I love making cards featuring birds so couldn't resist making another for Addicted to CAS as the code word is BIRD.

The bird, branch and landscape were stamped in black Memento and coloured with Chameleon pens.

My second card today is fairly simple - a stitched rectangle with some stamping and colouring with Promarkers. I'd like to enter this in a few challenges. The light isn't very good for photography today as there's a complete change in the weather. The lovely sunshine has gone and it's been rainy nearly all day!

At Addicted to CAS the code word is Birds.

Black, White and Gold

Greetings and happy Monday!

My second card today is for Addicted to CAS where they would like to see black, white and gold.

Everything on the card is a die-cut apart from the birthday stamp and the gold dimensional paste in the centres of the flowers.

A new bunny ...

Greetings dear friends, I hope you're having a good week and are well!

I've been having fun using these new little bunny stamps and here's a card made using Chameleon pens. The frame is a die-cut and I stamped the flowers and bunnies with black Memento, coloured them in and fussy cut. The image is from a set by Waltzingmouse which I felt went with the stamps. 

The challenge which is being hosted by the super-talented Loll at Addicted to CAS is CUTE and I think this fits the bill.

At Less Is More they would like to see a card made using a combination of three previous challenges and I've chosen Little Ones (31.1.15), More Than One Stamp (31.5.14) and Animal (16.8.14).

Zen tree

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good weekend!

I've had this rather nice zen tree stamp by Lavinia Stamps for about a year and it hasn't seen ink yet but when I saw the lovely photo inspiration at Inkspirational, I knew I wanted to use it to make a card for the challenge.

Here's how I made my card: cut some paper to use as masks to ink the hills, sky and sun, brush on inks, stamp the tree with black Archival, colour with Promarkers and white gel pen.

Romantic sunset

Hello everyone, I hope you're having a good week!

This is a card I've made for a few challenges. The theme this week at Less Is More is One Layer Card - Love. Also linking to One Layer Simplicity - You Blend, Addicted to CAS - Mask, House of Cards - Love and Happy Little Stampers February Sketch Challenge.

I cut a heart out of paper to make a mask, used a punched circle mask for the sun, brushed on various distress inks and blended and stamped the images and sentiment.

Fantasy Stampers - CAS Christmas

All is calm, all is bright

Hi everyone, and greetings to new follower, Sarah. Here's a card I've made using this week's Colour Me choice. Also for Addicted to CAS - DOTS and Fantasy Stampers - CAS Christmas.

How I made it:

1. Brush on ink to make a background and add white dots with a white marker as snowflakes.

2. Diecut the trees and panel.

3. Stamp and colour the deer with a duster brush, add more white dots and diecut bow.

4. Stamp sentiment.

Merry Christmas snowflake

Hi everyone, I hope you're well. Greetings to my latest follower, Sid and thank you for your interest in my blog.

I've made this card for a few challenges. The diecut snowflakes cut from foiled card were mounted onto a stitched rectangle diecut, with heat embossed sentiment on the vellum strip. A bit tricky to photograph, here's a close-up.

Dreamer of dreams

Hi again, everybody! My second card for today is for Addicted to CAS (Vellum), Time Out (Birds of a Feather Flock Together) and 613 Avenue Create (Anything Goes with optional twist of candy) - I've used candy colours.

The background was made with watercolour paints, with diecut vellum feathers, sequins and stamped sentiment.

Addicted to Stamps and More #99 - CAS

Hi everyone, it's time to start a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week the theme is CAS.

To make my DT card, I first stamped the road in black Archival and coloured with distress ink. The caravan, car and trees were stamped with black Memories and coloured with Promarkers, a little bit of inking for the sky and the little fluffy clouds were made with a white gel pen.
