A new bunny ...

Greetings dear friends, I hope you're having a good week and are well!

I've been having fun using these new little bunny stamps and here's a card made using Chameleon pens. The frame is a die-cut and I stamped the flowers and bunnies with black Memento, coloured them in and fussy cut. The image is from a set by Waltzingmouse which I felt went with the stamps.

The challenge which is being hosted by the super-talented Loll at Addicted to CAS is CUTE and I think this fits the bill.

At Less Is More they would like to see a card made using a combination of three previous challenges and I've chosen Little Ones (31.1.15), More Than One Stamp (31.5.14) and Animal (16.8.14).

Also linking up to Uniko Studios - Anything Goes.

Thank you so much for popping in, take care xx

Blue poppies

Hi everyone, I hope you're well and had a good weekend!

I love making cards with flowers on them and poppies are one of my favourites.

The stamp was inked with distress ink and spritzed with water before stamping and I moved some of the colour about with a wet brush.

Linking up to Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge - Watercolour, Uniko Studios - Love and Friendship and CAS-ology - NBUS (never before used poppy stamp set).  Also for Less Is More where this week's theme is Friends.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today. Have a great rest of the week! xx

LIM171, OLS#5 and STAMPlorations

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! I hope your having a good day.

I'd like to show you  a card I made today using stamps and distress inks to create a watercolour effect by scribbling with distress markers and pressing distress ink pads onto an acrylic block, misting lightly with water and then inking the stamps from there.

I began by stamping the pots and used a brush and water to spread the colour. The leaves were stamped next and then the flowers. The flowers are a two part stamp which makes it easier to achieve a watercolour.effect.

Would like to link uip to a few challenges. at Less Is More it's One Layer Thank You card, One Layer Simplicity Challenge would like to see cards with flowers and STAMPlorations May challenge: Stamps and Flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your comments which are so appreciated!  Have a great rest of the day. xxx

Festive Friday and LIM#147

Hi everyone, as you can see, I've made another Christmas card today ... thought I wasn't going to make another one but I've got a second wind! :O

I've stamped in black Archival and used an aqua brush to colour. The partridge was made using the double sided sheet and acetate technique with gold leaf - if you'd like more details, I have an explanation of how to do here.

Again, not a great photo due to the very poor light at this time of year (not to mention my not very good attempts at photography). I had to lay the card down to take the photo so you could see the gold leaf, hence the squiffiness!

I would like to enter this in two challenges:

Less Is More - Make a Christmas card featuring a bird
Festive Friday - choose a theme from a past challenge

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Supplies
Partridge in pear tree stamp - Woodware
SU markers
Tarnished Brass distress paint - Tim Holtz

LIM Week 140 and KIS 24

Hi everyone, today I've made a white on white Christmas card. Was a bit stumped as I made one last week here, but here's what I came up with. The greeting (Stamporium) was heat embossed in silver, diecut frame by Sizzix and flower and leaves dies by Marianne. A Craftwork Cards Candi popped in the centre of the flower.

The silver embossing is a little tricky to photograph, here's a close-up.

This card is for the following challenges:

Less Is More - White on White Christmas
Keep it Simple - All is White

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Less Is More week 139

Hi everyone, the inspiration at Less Is More this week is a sketch.

I've used two dies and a punch to create my snowflake. The largest was made using an long strip panel cut three times with white card, the middle layer with a medium snowflake and white glitter card which is difficult to see on the photo.  Here's a close-up.

Dies by Joy Crafts, sentiment stamp by Hobby Art.

Enjoy your weekend!
