Christmas poinsettia

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good weekend.  A big wave and hello to Mary, my newest blog follower. Thank you for your interest in my blog.

Just a quick post to show you a card I've made using die cuts. The leaves have Wink of Stella on them which you can't see in the photo.  It feels a bit strange making a Christmas card in this hot weather but this week's red theme at Colour Me always make me think of Christmas.

Linking up to a few challenges:
Colour Me - Monochromatic (Real Red)

Flower vine

Hi everyone, the card I made today was inspired by the pretty Colour Me colours and CAS(E) This Sketch.

The flower vine was cut in green and then again in white, the flowers were cut out separately and sponged with inks.

Also linking up to AAA Cards - It's Springtime and Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes.

Have a great rest of the weekend! xx

CTS#71, LIM#166 and Card Concept #7

Hello everybody, I hope you're having a good day!

I'd like to show you a card I made for a few challenges. Actually I'm not quite sure about it because it's yet another case of the infamous white embossing powder which looks ahem, cream. This is the one by Cosmic Shimmer which is described on the tub as "True White". Oh well ... I will let you decide. After heat embossing the images were coloured using an aqua brush and distress inks.

Would like to link to the following:

Less Is More #166 - Touch of Turquoise
The Card Concept #7 - Use a Butterfly (Clean and Simple)

Supplies
Quilled Elegant stamp set - PTI

Card Concept #6, CAS-ology #87 and CTS#69

Hi everyone, I hope you're well and having a good day.

I'd like to show you a card made today using the Floral Frame die set by Memory Box. The floral frame, tag and five flowers were cut from white card. I scribbled 3 different SU! markers onto an acrylic block and used a little sponge to apply colour to the flowers. The sentiment tag is a bit small but I was able to find a little birthday sentiment stamp that fits and a touch of white Liquid Pearls was added to the flower centres.

Would like to link this to:

CAS-ology #87 - Blush

Supplies

ATSM #82 - Make Your Mark

Hi everyone, I hope you're well and keeping dry! A big hello and welcome to new members Kristie and Charissa

It's time for the start of a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week it's "Mark Your Mark" - use markers, paints, pens chalks and pencils on your project.

We are very pleased to have the very creative Dawn as our Guest Designer again this week, and our Top Addict will receive a prize from our generous sponsor, StampArt Design.

For my DT card, I created the grass with torn strips of vellum, scribbled a marker on my non-stick craft sheet and picked up the colour with a duster brush (the cloud masks are diecuts) to make the sky, stamped and fussy cut the two little sheep by inking with a marker pen.

Would like to link my card to a few challenges. I've used the colours from CAS Colours and Sketches and the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch

At Make My Monday, the theme is "Love Is In The Air" and at Addicted to CAS - Love.

There's lots of lovely DT inspiration at the ATSM challenge blog, please do nip over and we hope you can join in the fun!

Supplies
Sheep and sentiment stamps - Lil' Buddies by Waltzingmouse
