Happy Little Stampers Jan CAS challenge (DT)

Hello everyone, I wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year and blessings for 2016 and I hope you had a good Christmas.

It's time to start our first HLS CAS challenge of 2016 and our technique this month is Smooshing.

Our fabulous sponsor is Happy Little Stampers and the winner will receive a stamp set.

To make my card, I smooshed a few shades of green DT ink, die cut the grassy slope and stems and did the same with two shades of orange for the flowers. The sentiment is from the HLS Mix Mash stamp set.

Don't forget to check out all the DT examples and tutorials over at the HLS CAS challenge blog and we look forward to seeing your beautiful creations and visiting your blogs.

Daisies

Hello everyone, I hope you're having a good weekend.  My card today was inspired by the theme of Daisies at The Card Concept (Clean and Layered style).

I've used stitched die-cuts and a stencil to create the background for the sentiment.

Time Out GD

Grettings everyone

I am very honoured to be Guest Designer at Time Out Challenges.  We have an 'Inspired by words' theme and the words are 'Happy is the bride that the sun shines on'.  You can use any of these words as inspiration (i.e. happy, bride, sun, shine).

I wanted to use more of my DP on cards and here's what I've made.  The base was a die cut stiched rectangle cut from DP, then I added the "happy", bird, vellum banner, grey banner with "birthday" heat embossed in white and the vellum foliage tinted with a Promarker.

Looking forward to seeing you at Time Out. Have fun!!

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone, I've made a card today using the fun colours at Colour Me.

I brushed ink on using a cloud template for the bottom border, stamped the balloon and bird, coloured and cut out, and attached sun and clouds die-cuts.

Also linking up to Uniko Studios, where the theme is Things With Wings, and I've used a Uniko sentiment from the Simply Said Birthday set.

The theme at Seize the Birthday is Anything Goes with optional twist of Make Your Own Background.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a lovely weekend! xx

Have a beautiful day

Hi eveyone, I hope you're well!

This is a card I've made with the ColourQ colours.

I stamped the mountains and sentiment in black and did some watercolour on the mountains and sky. The little tree stamp was inked with SU! markers with second generation stamping for the trees in the distance and added Wink of Stella on the snowy mountain tops which looks nice IRL but you can't really see it in the photo!

Thanks so much for looking and for leaving a comment - it really makes my day when I read them xx

Flower vine

Hi everyone, the card I made today was inspired by the pretty Colour Me colours and CAS(E) This Sketch.

The flower vine was cut in green and then again in white, the flowers were cut out separately and sponged with inks.

Inkspirational and STB

Hi everyone, and hello and welcome to new blog follower, Theresa!

The theme at Inkspirational is Blue with White or Cream and here's what I've made.

The background was made by applying light blue pastel, stamping with Versamark and brushing on a darker shade of blue. Careful not to touch the card as the pastel sticks to fingerprints. The sentiment was heat embossed on vellum.

Would also like to link to Seize the Birthday where Anything Goes.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! x
