ATSM #93 - Holidays

Hello everyone, it's time to start a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and our theme this week is Holidays - create a project featuring a holiday of your choice which could be Easter, Christmas, New Year, any national holiday, a favourite holiday destination etc.

My DT card was inspired by the sketch at House of Cards - April Challenge #2 CAS and/or Classic/Elegant + Sketch and the photo inspiration at Festive Friday - #30. I inked the wreath, flowers and berries stamps with SU! markers, added glitter glue to the flowers and berries and stamped and diecut the bow. Sentiment is handwritten.

ATSM #92 - Make Your Mark

Hi everybody, I hope you're all well and had a lovely Easter! I had a really  fabulous day yesterday meeting up and lunching with Kylie, Marina, Monika, Sandie, Sylvia and Val! We had a great time and it was so nice to meet all these lovely ladies.

It's time for the start of a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week's theme is Make Your Mark - create something using pens, markers, pencils, crayons, chalks or pastels.

For my DT card, I've stamped in black Archival, coloured in with watercolour pencils and blended with a brush and water.

Hi everyone, just a quick post to show you a Christmas card I've made. The wreath was coloured with Smoky Slate, the background sponged with Crumb Cake and the candle flames with River Rock. Inspiration provided by Festive Friday #29 and would also like to link this to Merry Monday #104 - Use Slate/Kraft and 52CCT - April colour challenge.

ATSM #91 - Anything Goes

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a good week so far!

The theme this week at Addicted to Stamps and More is Anything Goes and our fabulous sponsor for the challenge is A Random Fan.

For my DT card, I've used a stencil on the background piece by inking with two colours of distress ink, place the stencil over the top and finely mist with water, lift the stencil and roll a roll of kitchen towel gently over the image. Finally, dry with heat tool. The flower and leaves were stamped with black Archival and coloured with DIs and aqua brush. The diecut "happy" is purple but looks almost black in the photo.

Hello again! This is my second card for today which I'd like to link to CAS Colours and Sketches - #68 and CAS(E) This Sketch - #71 (2nd entry). The leaves and sentiment were stamped directly onto the card base and the flowers were stamped, cut out and popped up (stamps inked with SU! markers).

Hello everybody, I hope you're having a good day!

I'd like to show you a card I made for a few challenges. Actually I'm not quite sure about it because it's yet another case of the infamous white embossing powder which looks ahem, cream. This is the one by Cosmic Shimmer which is described on the tub as "True White". Oh well ... I will let you decide. After heat embossing the images were coloured using an aqua brush and distress inks.

Easter Blessings

Hi everyone, I hope you are well. I'd like to show you a card which I had planned to make for my DT card at Addicted to Stamps and More this week (the theme is CAS). 

As things got overtaken by events it wasn't ready in time and I changed the colour scheme by using Pumpkin Pie + Neutral which is the theme at Colour Me (CMCC#14 Monochromatic) and will also link up to Word Art Wednesday (#126 Anything Goes).
