Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #39 - CAS

Hello everyone, there's a new challenge starting at Addicted to Stamps and More ... CAS.  Our sponsor for this challenge is Heather Ellis who is offering our Top Addict a choice of 2 digis from her store!

My DT card was made using stamps from PTI inked with SU markers. Inspiration came from Julie Ebersole's card at Case Study #134.

Please do check out all the fabulous inspiration by the other ladies in the ATSM design team including some using Heather's cute designs, and we look forward to seeing your lovely creations - anything goes as long as it's CAS.

This card is also for Make My Monday - one layer CAS.

Thank you for stopping by today!

The Play Date Cafe #175 and Retrosketches #57

Hi everybody, and welcome to new member Cathy.

The mojo is a bit nojo these last few days, but when I saw the lovely Spring colours at Play Date Cafe this week they inspired me to make a card using this week's Retrosketches sketch. It was quite a simple card just using some papers from the stash, punched flowers and twine.

Beaded butterflies

Hi everyone, I wanted to revisit the glass microbeads which I used earlier on this week as they haven't seen the light of day for quite a while!

I started by embossing some white card with an embossing folder and diffuser for a background then cut the butterflies using Sizzix two part dies. The plain butterfly was cut with double-sided sticky sheet attached and the silhouette part was then attached to it and the microbeads (gold and jade) stuck to the uncovered areas.

This card is for the following challenges:

Less Is More #112 - use beads (2nd entry)

CAS On Sunday #44 - Flutterby

CAS-ology Week 37 - Hope

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Addicted to Stamps and More #38 - Colours

Hi everyone, it's time for our first colour challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

For my DT card, I've used a technique which is new to me -  I dry embossed some white card with an embossing folder and ran SU markers over the raised areas.

Less Is More week 112

Hello everyone, the Less Is More challenge this week is a recipe - USE BEADS.

After having a little think, I remembered I had some glass micro beads which I have had for quite a few years and not got round to using.

I stamped the image twice with black Memento and coloured one with Promarkers.  I cut the flower out of the other one and used double sided to tape to attach the micro beads to the flower centre.

Thanks for stopping by today and keep warm!
