Blue butterfly

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good week, and enjoying the sunshine!

My card was made using distress markers and new marker spritzer to create a background, the sentiment (HLS Bold Birthday Sentiments) which I've used for the first time - heat embossed in white, the butterfly (HLS Butterfly Birthday) is heat embossed on vellum and coloured on the back with Promarkers.

Linking up to some challenges:
NBUS Challenge - Anything Goes
Time Out - Take Time out to Make Your Mark w/optional twist of Monochrome

Have a lovely day!

Hi everyone, I hope you're well and the weather isn't being too unkind!

I've made another card for Time Out as the photo inspiration is lovely this week and I wanted to have another go! This time I've taken inspiration from the row of cushions and the flower pattern

The flowers were stamped in black Memento and coloured with Promarkers and then I cut out three squares from the larger image.

The flowers were coloured using the ColourQ selection and am also linking to Darnell's fun NBUS (never before used schtuff) and CAS-ology where the theme is also NBUS, as this is the first trip out for the Blossoming Buds stamp set and

Thank you for visiting my blog and for your lovely comments which I always appreciate and love reading xx

AAA, CCS and NBUS

Hi everyone, hope you're having  a good day and enjoying the Indian Summer we're having at the moment.

I've made this card using the sketch from AAA Cards and colours from CAS Colours and Sketches. I'd also like to link up a second entry to the lovely Darnell's NBUS challenge #2 as it's the first trip out for these stripe stamps which are part of a set of splodges and splats thingies.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments and for visiting my blog today! xx

Addicted to Stamps and More #99 - CAS

Hi everyone, it's time to start a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week the theme is CAS.

Our fabulous sponsor is QKR Stampede and our Top Addict will be able to choose 3 free digis from their store.

To make my DT card, I first stamped the road in black Archival and coloured with distress ink. The caravan, car and trees were stamped with black Memories and coloured with Promarkers, a little bit of inking for the sky and the little fluffy clouds were made with a white gel pen.

The DT have made a fabulous array of CAS cards so do check it out and we hope you will be inspired to join in!

Would like to link my card to Addicted to CAS where the theme is Transport.  Also, Darnell of DJKardCreations has launched a brand new NBUS challenge (this is the first time I've used the stamp set) and  this is my first entry at Stampin for the Weekend - Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your creations and visiting your blogs. Anything goes so long as it's CAS!
