Summer flip-flops

Hello crafting friends, I hope you're doing well and having a good week. 

I've made this card looking forward to Summer in a few months - using masks, a stencil and brushed on distress inks, added die-cut flip-flops and stamped sentiment.

Birthday Wishes

Hi crafting friends, happy Saturday.  I hope you're having a good weekend!

Firstly, I would like to say hello and welcome to my newest blog follower, Brenda! Thank you for your interest in my blog, Brenda.

Do you like colour challenges?  I find it fun and interesting to try and match my stamps and dies for colour challenges to (hopefully) achieve a pleasing combination.  My card today is using the fun colours at Colour Me.

I started by inking with Island Indigo through a diecut oval.  The sentiment banner was diecut and stamped, then the little chicks were stamped straight onto the card, then stamped again on white card, coloured and fussy cut.  The balloon cords were stamped and the balloons are diecut hearts, inked and crystal lacquered. 

Am also linking up to CAS-ology, where the theme is BIRTHDAY, and showCASe your style, where I've taken inspiration from the balloons in the photo.
