Purple Roses

Hi everybody, happy Friday! A big hello and welcome to new blog member, Hazel.

When I saw that the theme at Inkspirational is Purple, I wanted to join in with a card made using the Painted Flowers set.

The stamps were inked with a variety of distress and SU! markers and black Memento, the sentiment stamped in grey, cut out and mounted on 3D foam along with two of the roses.

Flowers and sunshine

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good week!

Inspired by the ColourQ colours and the theme at Less Is More - Hello Sunshine, I made my one layer card by inking the stamps with SU! markers and spritzing with water before stamping for a watercolour effect. It's a little bit unpredictable and you can get some interesting effects but be careful not to spray on too much water as it can make puddles on your card!

Not too much sunshine around today so photographing was a bit tricky. I used the flash but not convinced it's an OK photo.

Another little birdie!

Hi everyone, I love making cards featuring birds so couldn't resist making another for Addicted to CAS as the code word is BIRD.

The bird, branch and landscape were stamped in black Memento and coloured with Chameleon pens.

Hi everyone, today is Sandie's birthday and Kylie has organised a surprise linky party! Hope you have a wonderful and enjoyable day and a great weekend, Sandie!

To make my card, I inked the flowers and leaves with SU! markers, intensified the colours here and there with coloured pencils, added some white highlights and stamped the sentiment in black Archival. I took the photo quite early and the light wasn't great.

My second card today is fairly simple - a stitched rectangle with some stamping and colouring with Promarkers. I'd like to enter this in a few challenges. The light isn't very good for photography today as there's a complete change in the weather. The lovely sunshine has gone and it's been rainy nearly all day!

At Addicted to CAS the code word is Birds.

My first card today was made using distress inks, duster brushes, stamps and stencils with some tricky masking.

Flowers and stripes

Hi everyone, just a quick post to show you a card I've made inspired by the photo at Time Out, taking inspiration from the flowers, stripes and touch of black.

The flowers and leaves are die-cuts, also the stitched circle, the "sending" is cut from white fun foam and the sentiment is heat embossed in white on black.

Black, White and Gold

Greetings and happy Monday!

My second card today is for Addicted to CAS where they would like to see black, white and gold.

Everything on the card is a die-cut apart from the birthday stamp and the gold dimensional paste in the centres of the flowers.

I've made this card using the pretty ColourQ selection. The little flowers are stitched flower die-cuts popped up on 3D foam.
