LIM171, OLS#5 and STAMPlorations

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! I hope your having a good day.

I'd like to show you  a card I made today using stamps and distress inks to create a watercolour effect by scribbling with distress markers and pressing distress ink pads onto an acrylic block, misting lightly with water and then inking the stamps from there.

I began by stamping the pots and used a brush and water to spread the colour. The leaves were stamped next and then the flowers. The flowers are a two part stamp which makes it easier to achieve a watercolour.effect.

Would like to link uip to a few challenges. at Less Is More it's One Layer Thank You card, One Layer Simplicity Challenge would like to see cards with flowers and STAMPlorations May challenge: Stamps and Flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your comments which are so appreciated!  Have a great rest of the day. xxx

Wow, this is SO pretty, Sue. I was certain you had "watercolored" it like Dawn at WPlus9 has done. So cool to hear how you achieved the look. Love the composition and colors. Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations!
