My card was made using blue snowflakes die cut from an alcohol inks piece and silver glitter card and the sentiment was heat embossed in silver (die and stamp from Uniko).

Poinsettia Merry Christmas

This is another of the light-up cards which I made at the HLS craft retreat. 

The images were heat embossed in white, watercoloured with distress inks and fussy cut. Sentiment heat embossed in gold.

And here it is lit up. I took the photo in low light to show the effect but it was quite difficult to photograph.

AAA Cards, CAS Mix Up, CAS Watercolour, CAS On Friday, HLS Watercolour Challenge

This is another of the cards I made at the HLS craft retreat during a session playing with Brushos. 

I sprinkled a couple of shades of blue onto the craft mat, misted with water and patted my watercolour card into the colours a few times, drying between layers, added die-cut trees and a stamped sentiment.

Light-up Christmas Tree

Here's a card I made last weekend at the Happy Little Stampers craft retreat with Kylie showing us how to make light-up cards and we had a lot of fun.

The tree stamp was inked with distress markers misted with water a few times in different shades of green and highlighted with Wink of Stella. When the sentiment is pressed, the top of the tree lights up (inset photo). It's a pity the sparkle and the light don't show up very well in the photo.

So sorry I am a bit behind with my commenting at the moment ... trying to catch up!

Guest designing at Uniko!

I am very honoured and happy to be posting a card as guest designer at Uniko!

I stamped and heat embossed the lovely Uniko poinsettia stamp in white and watercoloured with Gansai Tambi waterolours.  The background to the flower is painted with gold but its almost impossible to see in the photo. The sentiment from the same stamp set was heat embossed in gold.

Holly Jolly Christmas

Just a quick post to share with you a little Christmas card.

I die cut the little branches, coloured some with Promarkers and glittered the holly using double-sided sticky sheets. The die-cut bow was cut from red card and crystal lacquer applied, and stamped sentiment.

Christmas flower

Hi everyone,  I hope you're having a good week.  Another Christmas card!

I added crystal lacquer and glitter to the leaf die-cuts and some glitter in the poinsettia centre, some little vellum leaves and sentiment heat embossed in gold.
