Poinsettia Merry Christmas

This is another of the light-up cards which I made at the HLS craft retreat.
The images were heat embossed in white, watercoloured with distress inks and fussy cut. Sentiment heat embossed in gold.
And here it is lit up. I took the photo in low light to show the effect but it was quite difficult to photograph.

Hi Sue, what a beautiful card! I love the effect of watercolouring after you've heat embossed the image. The white lines of the blossom and leaves really adds a lot of interest. Love the stitched lines, both in the stamped image and in your die-cut background. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Beautiful Poinsettia Christmas card Sue. Love the white embossing and water colouring...extra work but well worth it when you see the outcome. Excellent job of fussy cutting out the design and then adding the lights for that additional WOW factor. Either lit or unlit this is an awesome CAS card. Thanks so much for sharing your creation at the Watercooler Wednesday "Feminine" challenge this week. Love it!
