Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good weekend! The card I want to show you today is using this week's ColourQ #128 colours.

I stamped the bunny with black Memento and coloured with Promarkers (find SU markers difficult to colour in with for some reason).

I'd like to also enter this in 52CCT - Any past 2013 challenge (March: Christmas Animals).

Festive Friday and LIM#147

Hi everyone, as you can see, I've made another Christmas card today ... thought I wasn't going to make another one but I've got a second wind! :O

I've stamped in black Archival and used an aqua brush to colour. The partridge was made using the double sided sheet and acetate technique with gold leaf - if you'd like more details, I have an explanation of how to do here.

Again, not a great photo due to the very poor light at this time of year (not to mention my not very good attempts at photography). I had to lay the card down to take the photo so you could see the gold leaf, hence the squiffiness!

I would like to enter this in two challenges:

Less Is More - Make a Christmas card featuring a bird
Festive Friday - choose a theme from a past challenge

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Supplies
Partridge in pear tree stamp - Woodware
SU markers
Tarnished Brass distress paint - Tim Holtz

ATSM #73 - HOLIDAYS

Hi everyone, the theme at Addicted to Stamps and More is ... HOLIDAYS  (not necessarily Christmas, use the theme as you would like!). This is a new theme challenge, which is replacing the colour challenge.

Our generous sponsor for this week's challenge is Deedee's Digis and our Top Addict will receive a fab prize of three sets of digis from their store.

For my DT card, I've used the Catalina Wreath die and decorated it with little snowflakes cut with Snowflake Burst. I think this card looks better IRL as you can't see from the photo that the wreath is cut from white glossy sparkle card and the snowflakes have silver sparkle.

Here's a close-up.

The ATSM design team have a fabulous variety of projects to show you, so don't forget to pop over and check it out and we look forward to seeing your lovely creations and visiting your blogs!

CAS-ology week 71, ColourQ#216 and STAMPlorations

Hello everyone, here's something I made for a few challenges.

CAS-ology, where the theme this week is BELLS and ColourQ. The layout was based on last week's CAS(E) This Sketch but was I was too late to enter. Also for STAMPlorations November challenge - Stamps and Sequins.

I initially stamped the sentiment in a colour but then decided it looks better in black?! I don't have SU! More Mustard so substituted Summer Starfruit.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look.

ATSM #72 - Make Your Mark

Hi everyone, and a big hello to new member, Hayley

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week it's "Make Your Mark" - use marker pens, crayons, paints, colouring pencils, chalks on your project

Our generous sponsor is Fresh Squeezed Stamps and our Top Addict will receive a stamp set of his/her choice from their store.

For my DT card, I've used a Sara Kay image which I thought would be a good candidate for colouring in. I have to admit I always find the Make Your Mark challenge quite difficult as I don't make many cards which involve colouring in with markers and so on. I used my Promarker blender pen for the first time on this card and found the skintone quite difficult to get right but between you and me, I was quite pleased with the results.

The other ATSM DT ladies have made some beautiful projects so please don't forget to check it out, and we look forward to seeing your fabulous creations.

Have a good week. Sue x

For my DT card, I stamped the bird cage stamp in brown Archival onto an inked section  and highlighted with a white gel pen, punched out some little leaves, stamped the sentiment, cut it out and inked the edges.

Don't forget to check out the awesome inspiration from the other DT ladies at the ATSM challenge blog.

CAS-ology week 69, OLW165 and CFC119

Hi everyone, this is something I made today for a few challenges.

I stamped and heat embossed the Nativity scene in white, did some inking with TH distress inks and stamped the words in brown Archival. This is actually my third attempt. I tried twice to emboss with clear embossing powder but it was too "grainy" and didn't give enough detail, so I then embossed with white detail powder (although it looks cream!?).

This is for CAS-ology, CAS-ual Fridays, and One Layer Wednesday (No Red/Green) which is currently being hosted by Ardyth.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a nice day!

For my DT card, I used Die-Namics postage stamp die, Penny Black flower stamp and Clearly Besotted sentiment.

Have a great weekend. xx

DD#77, Merry Monday #82, Inkspirational #42 and CFC119

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well!

I've made this card for a few challenges: Dynamic Duos: Red and Aqua, Merry Monday: red, aqua, white and circles, Inkspirational #42: wreath and CAS-ual Fridays: heat or dry embossing.

I've been lucky enough to go to a few craft shows recently and have some new stash to play with. I cut the wreath once in aqua card and once in red, cut the red flowers out and stuck them on to the wreath which I found was easier said than done! It's very fiddly to do and to my dismay one of the tiny flowers disappeared onto the floor under my craft desk never to be seen again and I had used my last piece of Real Red card, so I hope it doesn't show too much!

I attached the wreath to some embossed white card, cut the sentiment banner and added a little soft inking and a sentiment. There's a bit of stamped woodgrain behind the sentiment and some tiny pearls here and there.

Hope you're having a good week and enjoying making your Christmas cards.

Take care, Sue x

'

Hi everyone, here is my DT card for this week's Addicted to Stamps and More where we have lovely photo inspiration and our generous sponsor is Digi Darla.

I made my card using JOFY stamps. The ornaments were stamped with black Memento and coloured with distress inks and aqua brush and another stamp from the set created a background. Glossy accents was applied to the ornaments, plus a disk of glittery card and twine.

Inspiration also provided by the sketch at Retrosketches.

Hello everyone, here is my DT card for Addicted to Stamps and More. This week the theme is: CAS (clean and simple) and as you can seen, I've kept my card very simple. Using colour inspiration from The Dynamic Duos: Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum, the stamps were inked with Stampin' Up! markers.

Our wonderful sponsor for the month of October is Nicecrane Designs and our Top Addict will receive a $20 gift certificate to spend at their online store.

Less Is More week 143

Hi everyone, I hope you are well and didn't suffer any storm damage this week. Although we had a lot of rain and it was quite windy, we were lucky not to suffer any damage but there is a tree down across the road quite close to here.

When I saw that the recipe at Less Is More is to use string or twine, I wanted to make a card with something to do with sewing but I don't have the appropriate stamps so here is what I came up with.

I cut a bobbin from card, used an embossing tool to give it some dimension and wound the twine around it, stamped a lace border and attached the bobbin and two buttons. The sentiment is hand written.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to new member, Joni.

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Our theme for the next two weeks, chosen by the multi-talented Kylie, is "One Layer".

Our fabulous sponsor is DigiDarla Designs who will be awarding a prize to our Top Addict.

Here's how I made my DT card. I used a die to cut my mask out of card then inked through the aperture with some Cut N Dry Foam and TH distress inks, stamped the scrolls, candle and flame with various distress inks and the lantern, chain and sentiment in black Archival.

The other DT ladies at Addicted to CAS have made a lovely variety of projects for your inspiration so don't forget to pop over and check it out and we look forward to seeing your one layer CAS cards.

ATSM #68 - Colour

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to new members, Deborah and Tanja.

This week at Addicted to Stamps and More, we have a lovely colour selection for your inspiration.

Our generous sponsor for the month of October is Nicecrane Designs and our Top Addict will receive a $20 gift certificate to use at their store.

I stamped the whole image twice on a card blank with Certain Celery and twice on a piece of white card (with TH Wild Honey as I don't have SU! More Mustard), cut the two sets of flowers out and attached them to the card with Pinflair glue gel. The sentiment was stamped with black Archival and added some bling to the flower centres.

Don't forget to check out the wonderful DT creations at the ATSM challenge blog and we do hope you've been inspired to join in the fun.
