Hi all, here is another (second) card which I would like to enter in the Less Is More challenge this week (see my last post for the sketch).

I made the border by running some paper through the Sizzix Embossing Boutique and adding some colour.

All papers are from the Chanteuse collection by Kaisercraft, sentiment stamp by Stampendous.

Less Is More week 78

Good evening, all. Less Is More has a sketch challenge this week.

I stamped the bird and grass images onto a piece of white card and embossed in white (stamps by Craftwork Cards), dabbed some distress ink onto my non stick craft sheet, sprayed with a little water and rubbed the piece of card into the inks. When dry, add a little more colour with a distress tool and voila! A little punching by Martha Stewart and sentiment stamp also by Craftwork Cards.

Make My Monday colour challenge 4

Hi everbody, Make My Monday colour challenge this week is to use analogous colours light blue, turquoise and dark blue.

To make my card, I cut out a little envelope using a Judikins template, inked it and stamped with a flower stamp by Hero Arts. The crackle background stamp is also by Judikins.

I did struggle with this challenge and am not that pleased with the resulting card!

Have a lovely weekend. Are you enjoying the Olympics?

18th birthday card

Hello everbody, I was asked by someone to make an 18th birthday card and this is my creation. Most of the diecuts and papers are from a set by Kanban, the name of which I cannot now recall. I have also used a Craftwork Cards embossed frame and the centre panel with the "18" on it was cut from white card using a Craftwork Cards nesting template. Have also made a box and decorated the lid (my first attempt at making a box for a card).

Speedy Fox and Friends challenge 115

Hi everyone, this is a card I've made for Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 115 to make a blue and green card.

I had in mind to make something completely different using a new stamp I bought recently and some vellum, but as I needed to make a quick thank you card for someone, I made this. Hopefully I will have time to do my original idea later!

All materials by Craftwork Cards.

I used the Spring Fling template to cut some flowers and leaves out of embossed card from the Sweet Pea collection, stamped the butterflies using Tim Holtz distress ink, added a little banner with a stamped sentiment and some Card Candi.
