Orange flowers

I made the background by brayering some Persimmon and Follised Amber distress oxides onto a gelli plate, splashing with a little bit of water. The flowers were stamped, coloured with alcohol markers and die-cut.

I've bought a few different flower stamps and dies in the last few weeks and this is one from Clearly Besotted,

Thank you for looking!

Your background is so beautiful. I hardly ever use an orange/peachy colour on my cards so this totally inspires me to do so. Your flowers are beautifully coloured and love that you used a similar colour but darker, really pulls the card together. I'm so very glad you shared this card with us at The Flower Challenge!!

Wow, gorgeous distress oxide background, Sue! The water splashes make it look so artsy and I love it! Dividing the background into two pieces adds so much interest and the layout is awesome!
