CAS Colours and Sketches (GD)

The last of my guest designer spots at CAS Colours and Sketches and this week's prompt is a combined sketch with lovely soft colours. Here's my card.

I created a little "sky" watecolour background and inlaid the die-cut flowers after painting the petals.

To make the background, I sprayed spray starch onto white glossy card, sprinkled on Brushos, sprayed more starch then laid a piece of cling wrap over the top and moved the colours around with my fingers. The white snowflake die-cut was overlaid and sentiment stamped with distress oxide ink.

Two for Twofer!

I had a bit of craft room catch-up yesterday as I seem to have got off to a low start this year.  I've been wanting to join in at Darnell's fabulous new Twofer Challenge, where the theme is Feathers. Here's what I made using a feather stamp from Waltzingmouse.

The feathers were heat embossed in a lovely rose gold embossing powder, it's such a pretty shade and difficult to see in a photograph.

For the second card, I heat embossed the feathers in white on watercolour card,  sprinkled Brushos around and misted with a water spray bottle.

CAS Colours and Sketches (GD)

It's time to start a new challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. Here is my guest designer card using the lovely soft colours.

I did some watercolouring on mixed media paper using SU! markers and die-cut the flowers out of Wisteria Wonder card.

CAS Colours and Sketches guest designer

Happy New Year! My first post of 2018 and I'm happy to be January guest designer at CAS Colours and Sketches. This week's sketch is above and here is what I made.

The "thanks" is die-cut from an alcohol inks piece, the banner heat embossed and sponged with ink and I added some little enamel stickers. The background is dry embossed.
