Two for Twofer!

I had a bit of craft room catch-up yesterday as I seem to have got off to a low start this year.  I've been wanting to join in at Darnell's fabulous new Twofer Challenge, where the theme is Feathers. Here's what I made using a feather stamp from Waltzingmouse.

The feathers were heat embossed in a lovely rose gold embossing powder, it's such a pretty shade and difficult to see in a photograph.

For the second card, I heat embossed the feathers in white on watercolour card,  sprinkled Brushos around and misted with a water spray bottle.

Also linking this card up at Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge.

Two beautiful cards Sue. Love the rose gold embossing powder. I have never seen that colour before --- it's so pretty! The vellum sentiment banner adds something special to the CAS design. And gorgeous second card with the bright and bold rainbow of colours. Brushos always look so amazing using emboss resist. They really make the white feathers pop from the background. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge. xx

Both of your cards are gorgeous! The first one looks so elegant with the rose gold embossed feathers, that glittery strip and the vellum! Love the Brusho background of the second card. It makes your feathers pop!
Thank you for joining us in the very first Twofer Card Challenge!

These are both great cards. I love the elegance of the first embossed card and the white embossing looks beautiful against the brusho background. The feather is so authentic looking.

Sue, these are both stunning designs! I think the gold shows up beautifully in your first design and I love the overlaid gold sediment on vellum! I also think the way you sprinkled those Brusho colors for your second design is just brilliant and, again, love the sediment!! Thank you so much for playing with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
