My card was inspired by the flowers and colours in the Fusion photo inspiration.

The flower was die cut, sponged with distress inks and placed on a watercoloured background.

Misty morning

Hello everyone, I hope all is well with you.

My one layer card was made by masking off the centre, creating an inky background with masks and distress inks and stamping the flowers. I wasn't sure whether to add a sentiment so have just added a small one in the picture.

To make my card, I stamped some ink splats, added die cut foliage and flowers which are sponged with ink and gold paste added in the centres.

Happy Little Stampers February CAS Challenge (DT)

Hello everyone, I hope you're well.

This month at Happy Little Stampers, the CAS Challenge technique is

EMBOSSING FOLDER STAMPING - use an embossing folder as a stamp.

Our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers and the winner will receive one stamp set.

To make my card, I applied distress inks with a sponge to the raised side of a dotty embossing folder, spritzed lightly with water and pressed my card down onto the embossing folder. This was the first time I've done this technique so I was happy it came out OK. Added a stamped sentiment and flower and water coloured "hello" die cut.

I do hope you will join in - perhaps this is technique is new to you. We have some tutorials at the HLS challenge blog and lots of DT inspiration.

Hi everyone, happy Saturday!

The very talented Marika is guest designer at Time Out (CASE with your own twist) and today I've chosen to CASE her beautiful card using the ColourQ selection. Here is Marika's card.

To make my card, I heat embossed the flowers and leaves in white, water coloured with SU! markers and an aqua brush and fussy cut them out.
