CAS Stencil March Challenge - Reminder

Hi everyone, a reminder that there is still time to join in at the CAS Stencil Challenge where the technique is Ghosting.

I inked my background with blue distress ink, placed the stencil over the top and misted lightly with water. I used the leftover piece to make a die-cut sentiment, and butterfly to which I added glossy accents.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Your ghosted circle aperature is so pretty, Sue! I love the bright blue ... and again in the die-cut senitment. Your glossy black butterfly shines. So cool how you've inlaid part of the design in white. Really stands out and is so creative and beautiful! xx

A lovely soft ghosting on this really pretty blue panel - it's nice to have leftovers sometimes for little bits like sentiments...finishing off your gorgeous card Sue, just perfectly with the butterfly.

I love the stencil you used for the ghosting and it came out lovely. The butterfly looks great with it as a background.

Beautiful ghosted background with creative details, Sue! The blues and the ghosting effect are so pretty! Using the leftover background piece for the die-cut sentiment and the inlaid pieces for the butterfly is so clever and adds a sense of cohesiveness. Fantastic job!
