Rainbow butterfly

I stamped the Happy Little Stampers butterfly onto a watercolour background, cut it out with the matching die and popped it up on black foam.

CAS poinsettia

Just popping in with a quick little CAS Christmas card.  A simple design which could be replicated quite easily if you need a lot of Christmas cards. I haven't had so much time to craft recently. We have been in a heat wave in UK for the last couple of months with no rain, watering all the garden and hanging baskets and the vegs takes up quite a bit of time! 

The theme at CAS Christmas Challenge is "Poinsettia".

All About Layering

I'm happy to be taking part in the Altenew Educator Certification Program! I have just completed the first module entitled "All About Layering" and learned how to use the lovely Altenew layered flower stamps. 

This is what I made using the Vintage Blooms set with sentiment from Happy Blooms. I was happy with how it turned out and love the way the layered flowers look.

Tangerine & Olive

Less Is More would like to see cards featuring the colours Olive and Tangerine and here is mine.

I googled the colour olive and there seemed to be quite a variation in what constitutes the colour olive, some more green, some more yellow-ish. I used Crushed Olive distress ink.

The theme at AAA Cards is "Use a Frame". I've made a few cards recently using the eclipse technique and word dies, so I thought I would try it with a frame and here it is.
