Poinsettia Christmas card

Inspired by the  Merry Monday photo.

I heat embossed in platinum, watercoloured and added gloss to the berries. It was the first day of Spring here in UK a couple of days ago, but with the 'Beast from the East' and Storm Emma etc it seems more like Christmas!

  1. Oh wow, this is so beautiful. I love the shine of the embossing powder and the shaded water coloring. The little flower die cut border is lovely. Storms seem to be the norm right now. We have one on the east coast and one on the west coast.

  7. Wow, Sue! Where do I begin? Every detail of your card is so well chosen and beautifully completed that words almost fail. I love your watercolouring of the heat embossed Poinsettia and the branches. Placing the cut pieces over that lovely die-cut background adds to the overall elegance. Love the gloss on the berries and the embellishments in the centres of the flowers. Simply beautiful. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
