Using canvas

Inspired by the theme at CAS Mix Up which is Cork, Felt or Canvas + Stamping + Your Choice

I rubbed various distress crayons onto a piece of canvas and blended with my finger, then placed a stencil over the top and rubbed over with a baby wipe. It didn't quite come out as I hoped but I was happy with the effect.

This is very pretty and a technique I haven't tried. Crayons on canvas made a great card.

Hi Sue, I love the texture of the canvas and the lovely mix of colours you've created with your Distress Inks. The silhouette of the bird and the sentiment finish up your beautiful clean and simple card perfectly. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
