CAS Colours and Sketches, HLS CAS, Less Is More, Seize The Birthday, Uniko

This is the second card I made yesterday and I wanted to experiment with stencils and alcohol inks.

Here's how I made this simple background;
1. Cover the piece of Yupo card with blending solution and then with a pale coloured ink and move it around by tilting the card. Let it dry completely.
2. Place your stencil onto the Yupo and add your darker colours by squeezing the inks directly from the bottle. Let that dry completely before removing the stencil.

Playing along at five challenges:
Less Is More - Anything But Stamps
Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes
Uniko - Flowers

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for your lovely comments! Have a great weekend.

Wow, I love this Sue! The background is totally fabulous and it's great to see someone playing with AIs. The die cut frame and sentiment go perfectly. Really creative and an awesome finished effect! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

I'm always intrigued to see crafters using mediums I don't have in my stash. This looks fantastic, loving the contrast of those vibrant colours with the crisp white.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More and Happy Little Stampers, Anita x
