Hello everyone, I hope you had a good weekend.
I've been wanting to join in the fun at CAS Watercolour for some time and have only just had the opportunity to create something, just in time as I think it's about to close very shortly.
To make the background, I sprayed some watercolour card with water and then with pink and green ink sprays and moved the colour about with a wet brush and dried it with the heat tool, then stamped the foliage with distress ink, added some more water splashes and dots of Liquid Pearls. It was very quick and easy to make - the ink sprays give a speedy background.

I never thought about using sprays to watercolor. What a cool idea and such a beautiful card made like that. I am so impressed!

This is such a pretty scene, Sue! Love the pink sky! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Watercolour!
This is gorgeous, Sue! Love your sprayed background. Adding the stamped trees and then misting with water makes them appear to be hand watercoloured. Great artsy card. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx
