AAA Cards, The Card Concept, Less Is More

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good week.

I wanted to play with the lovely Less Is More sketch again. This time I've combined it with the pretty Card Concept colours (Lime and Aqua) (clean and layered style inspired by the colours and flowers) and here's what came out.

Leaving the frame and background plain white just looked tooooo bare. I wanted to add some touches of colour - I do hope I've got the right balance of CAS-ness.

The stamped flower is water coloured with distress inks, so will also link up at AAA Cards where the theme is Watercolour.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's perfectly CAS if you ask me, Sue! I LOVE that frame. How perfect for the sketch and so clean and contemporary lookin. Many fun possibilities with a frame like this. Is it a die by MFT maybe or did you create it by yourself? Must add this to my wishlist. :) You've also given me a fresh idea with my storybook die... Thanks for the inspiration! Fab card!

Love your interpretation of the sketch Sue, the way you've spotlighted the flower and highlighted the corner of the frame is inspired!

Absolutely brilliant! What a super idea to use a frame to form the lines of the sketch, and it gives a fab border too. The fresh colour palette works perfectly. Very stylish and definitely CAS! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

Bravo, Sue! Using the frame was perfect and the subtle colour in the corner adds so much interest. This is so delightfully elegant. Your choice of shades is impeccable as they are delicate & soft and that suits the floral so well. Perfect faded blending in the circle too. Love this. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
