Greetings, everybody and I hope you're having a good day. We have some lovely sunshine here.
I had a play last night with some different media and this is the result. The leaf was die-cut from black card, then four layers of thick clear embossing powder heated onto it. After that, I dabbed on a Versamark ink pad (please make sure the powder is cool and set before doing this!) and applied mica powders with a soft brush. Then before heating it all again with a heat tool, I inked up a swirly hearts stamp with gold ink and pressed it hard into the molten powder and waited until it had cooled down before lifting the stamp off. You must use a red rubber stamp and NOT a clear stamp to press into the molten powder. Phew, sorry if that was long-winded!
Also added some torn corrugated card, splats of gold paint and stamped sentiment.
Would like to share this card at four challenges:
CAS Mix Up - Stamping + Corrugated Card + your choice
(used die cut, heat embossing, acrylic paint, mica powders, torn corrugated)

Wow Sue! Your mixed media leaf is gorgeous! You put so much creativity in making it and I love the result! This has certainly given me ideas... I don't have a leaf die but this might work with a feather die I have. Thanks for inspiration!
Wow Sue I love this! I haven't played with ultra thick embossing for ages and you've made such an amazing embellishment!
