Time Out, Uniko, Seize The Birthday, STAMPlorations

My take on Time Out's photo inspiration.

I coloured the stamped flowers lightly with alcohol pens and intensified the colours with pencils. Wasn't sure about the sentiment but quite like the contrast between the delicate image and bold sentiment.

Purple flowers

Greetings everyone and happy Saturday!

This week's Muse inspiration is Linda's pretty card:

I've taken inspiration from the two purple flowers and three leaves. The die-cut flowers, stems and leaves were sponged with distress inks with a little more to make a background.

... Rain or Shine

Hi everybody, I do hope you're having a good week and able to enjoy some crafting time.

I was inspired again by the Time Out Challenge - Inspired by Words:
"Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine"
Anthony J. D'Angelo

I really wanted to make a card involving sunshine but for some reason, my mojo was leading me to rain, LOL!
Anyhow, I stamped the little ladies and umbrellas on white card, coloured in with alcohol marker pens and fussy cut them out. The little rain drops were stamped, the sentiment heat embossed in white on a black die cut circle, and Glossy Accents applied to the umbrellas.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

CAS Mix Up, Happy Little Stampers, Muse

Hello fellow crafters, I hope you're having a nice weekend and some warm weather.

I was inspired by Tracy's very sweet card at Muse Challenge:

To make my card, the die-cut mat was sponged with some with some ink and the little die-cut characters were stamped and coloured with alcohol markers.

Thank you for looking! Have a lovely evening xox

Addicted to CAS, CAS Mix Up, ColourQ, Time Out

Hi crafting friends, I hope you had a good weekend!

My card today was made using markers in a few different ways. I created the background using SU! markers scribbled onto an acrylic block, lightly misted with water and stamped onto watercolour card. The colours were blended a little with an aqua brush.

The lighthouse was stamped in black, the stripes added with a stamp inked with a red SU! marker,  grey highlights added with a Promarker and fussy-cut out. Everything is arranged around a die-cut oval.

The background is a bit "looser" than I would have liked but it's my third attempt. I need more practice and if you know a good online watercolour class, please let me know!

The colours are from the ColourQ selection (Real Red, Basic Grey, Marina Mist and Island Indigo).
