Hi crafting friends, I hope you had a good weekend!
My card today was made using markers in a few different ways. I created the background using SU! markers scribbled onto an acrylic block, lightly misted with water and stamped onto watercolour card. The colours were blended a little with an aqua brush.
The lighthouse was stamped in black, the stripes added with a stamp inked with a red SU! marker, grey highlights added with a Promarker and fussy-cut out. Everything is arranged around a die-cut oval.
The background is a bit "looser" than I would have liked but it's my third attempt. I need more practice and if you know a good online watercolour class, please let me know!
The colours are from the
ColourQ selection (Real Red, Basic Grey, Marina Mist and Island Indigo).
