Less Is More week 143

Hi everyone, I hope you are well and didn't suffer any storm damage this week. Although we had a lot of rain and it was quite windy, we were lucky not to suffer any damage but there is a tree down across the road quite close to here.

When I saw that the recipe at Less Is More is to use string or twine, I wanted to make a card with something to do with sewing but I don't have the appropriate stamps so here is what I came up with.

I cut a bobbin from card, used an embossing tool to give it some dimension and wound the twine around it, stamped a lace border and attached the bobbin and two buttons. The sentiment is hand written.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Sue xx

Supplies
Lacy border - Waltzing Mouse Stamps
Crumb Cake card and marker - Stampin' Up!
Tumbled Glass distress ink - Tim Holtz

Your bobbin is SEW good! I like the way you have created the 3d effect by using an embossed line on the edge, Definitely well worth the effort.
