Just a reminder that there is still time to join in at CAS Stencil - stenciling over a coloured background.
For my DT card I stencilled over a gelli plate background with distress ink, heat embossed the grasses and flower in white, coloured the flower with DI and waterbrush and added some spatters.
I have recently discovered a new (to me) rubber stamp company called Rubber Dance and bought a few sets which I used t make this tag.
The background is acrylic paints. I used the sentiment stamps and butterfly to stamp over. The butterfly was stamped onto a gel print and fussy cut. Also added some stenciling to the background with a STAMPlorations stencil (tag also by STAMPlorations).
For my ATC, I used an acrylic paint background and stenciled using distress inks and a fab Bloomdala mask from STAMPlorations, plus some touches of white acrylic here and there. The "hello" was die-cut black card.
I do hope you are able to join in and look forward to seeing your ATCs.
I'm delighted to be hosting the CAS Stencil May Challenge. The technique for this month is stencilling over coloured backgrounds.
I made a background with two shades of Distress Oxide green and water and stencilled over the top when it was dry.
Our talented guest designer is Michele of I Card Everyone. Please do check out the inspiration at the CAS Stencil Challenge and we looking forward to seeing your stencil creations!
