The Flower Challenge

I've been MIA for a while due to a variety of life's woes which I won't bore you with.

Anyhoo, The Flower Challenge has a fun sketch for inspiration.

I've used pieces of gel press backgrounds for the panels with stencilling and the flowers were stamped and fussy cut.

Two mixed media cards

I've been using my gelli plate again and made a few cards with some of the backgrounds. I've stencilled and stamped over the top and stamped and fussy cut the butterfly and flower.

Happy Little Stampers April ATC Challenge

To make my ATCs I created a background half and half, using a pretty printed tissue paper and a gelli plate stencil background. I heat embossed and water-coloured my rose and leaves and fussy cut them.

April CAS Stencil Challenge

Hi everyone, it's time to start the April challenge at CAS Stencil and we are looking at using embossing pasts and gels with our stencils.

Here's how I made my card.
1. Smoosh two colours of ink pads separately onto craft mat and blend some white embossing paste into both.
2. Mask off part of the card and place stencil on, apply embossing paste. I used the darker colour at the top and blended the two together a little bit in the middle.
3. I heat embossed my flower and sentiment and used the same two colours to water-colour the flower.

We have some video tutorials at the challenge blog and our guest designer and the other DT members have some gorgeous inspiration for you. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful cards!
