The technique for this month at
CAS Stencil Challenge is "Ghosting" - a fun technique where a stencil is placed over an inky background (made with anything water soluble such as distress inks, paints, distress crayons) and then rubbed over with a baby wipe or misted with water to remove some of the colour leaving a 'ghost' of the stencil. We have some helpful tutorials on the
CAS Stencil blog.
To make my card, I inked a background with two colours of distress ink, placed a leaf stencil over the top, misted with water and then mopped up any excess moisture with paper towel.
The other DT members and our guest designer have some
fabulous creations to inspire you and we look forward to seeing what you make.
Thanks for looking!
