Leaf

I have made a card for the CAS Watercolour Challenge - Maple Leaf.

The leaf was die-cut from mixed media paper, I misted with water and sprinkled shimmer powders until happy with the result. The background is crackle paste and distress crayon and I added some "dew drop" glossy accents.

Two butterflies

Butterflies and watercolour is a lovely combination so I couldn't resist making another card to play along at CAS Watercolour.

The butterflies were heat embossed in black and water coloured with distress inks.

Christmas glitter

Just a quick post to show you my card for the CAS Christmas 'glitter' challenge.

I die-cut the ornament in two different colours of glitter card and pieced them together. Sentiment heat embossed in gold.

Paper towel on a gelli plate

The challenge at CAS Mix Up is 'Paper Towel' and I've been experimenting with paper towel (cut into circles) and spray inks on a gelli plate.  I confess I was a bit stumped about how to use the prints on a CAS card (and I hope this is CAS enough). So quite simply the background was die-cut and stamped.

Pink Roses

The theme at The Flower Challenge is 'Use Your Favourite Flower' and I have chosen roses as they are my most favourite.

The flowers and leaves are gold heat embossed and water-coloured.

Gerbera

The background is pearl alcohol inks and gold foil, with added gerbera (Uniko) heat embossed in white on vellum.

This was hard to photograph and the shimmer of the pearl alcohol inks and foil doesn't show up that well (plus I am not great at photography!).

Flip flops

The colours at Less Is More are Tangerine, Aqua and White and here is what I've made.
