Paper towel on a gelli plate

The challenge at CAS Mix Up is 'Paper Towel' and I've been experimenting with paper towel (cut into circles) and spray inks on a gelli plate.  I confess I was a bit stumped about how to use the prints on a CAS card (and I hope this is CAS enough). So quite simply the background was die-cut and stamped.

Pink Roses

The theme at The Flower Challenge is 'Use Your Favourite Flower' and I have chosen roses as they are my most favourite.

The flowers and leaves are gold heat embossed and water-coloured.

Gerbera

The background is pearl alcohol inks and gold foil, with added gerbera (Uniko) heat embossed in white on vellum.

This was hard to photograph and the shimmer of the pearl alcohol inks and foil doesn't show up that well (plus I am not great at photography!).

Flip flops

The colours at Less Is More are Tangerine, Aqua and White and here is what I've made.

Thought it was about time for the flip-flops stamps and dies to have a trip out.

Daisy

Today's card is inspired by the daisies and colours in the Time Out photo inspiration.

Butterflies

A card for Less Is More where the challenge is to use Small Images (less than 2" diameter).  The die I've used has lots of little butterflies in one die. 

I backed it with a background made using gelli plate, distress oxides and brushos.

Snowflake bauble

My first Christmas card of the year (not sure if that is good or bad LOL).

I made the background by applying alcohol inks and blender solution to some glitter yupo card (very difficult to see the sparkle on the photo!).
