AECP - Let It Shine

Here is my project for the "Let It Shine" module of the Altenew Educator Certification Program.

I was inspired by the classes which included using sparkle pens and metallic papers and what better than a Christmas card to have sparkle and shine. 

Some of the die-cuts and the sentiment are gold foiled card and some are coloured with sparkle pens, which is hard to photograph and to see in picture.

Peaceful trees

I made this by inking my stamp with Zig watercolour pens, misting with water and stamping onto watercolour card.

AECP - Embossed and watercoloured flowers

This is my project for the Stunningly Simple Watercolour Techniques classes at the Altenew Educator Certification Program. [Apologies: correction this module is not part of the Level 1 AECP program]

I was inspired by the Colouring Embossed Images module and the colours for the Altenew August Inspiration Challenge.

The flowers were embossed in gold and watercoloured with the new Altenew paints.

Another CAS Christmas tree

I've made this using a lovely Christmas tree stamp which I bought at a stamp fair on Sunday. Embossed in gold and coloured with Zig watercolour pens. I went with green this time but think this would look good coloured in non-traditional colours too.

CAS birthday card

This is the card I made following completion of the Clean and Simple Boutique Cards module in the Altenew Educator Certification Program.

Inspired by the delicate stamping and gold details on one of the cards in the Foiling/Metallic Details class.  The flowers are from the Floral Art stamp set.

Happy Everything

I've completed the Easy Die-Cutting Techniques module at the Altenew Educator Certification Program and this is my project.

After stamping the layered Springtime Azaleas to make a background, I die-cut the "everything" once from the background using the outline and then in black for the word (Halftone Everything stamps and dies) and popped it up on black foam.
