Hi everyone, just another quick post with a card I've made using a die-cut butterfly inlaid into a dry embossed panel. The butterfly outline was cut from DSP mounted onto double sided sticky sheet then I added fine glitter and mica powder and heat embossed a sentiment. The photo didn't really capture the shine and sparkle from the mica and glitter.

Hi everyone, I do hope you're having a good weekend and enjoying some sunshine.

Just a very quick post to share a card I've made using the acrylic block stamping technique with distress markers for the background, the butterflies were inked with a distress marker and misted with water before stamping and sentiment heat embossed in white.

Greetings, crafting friends. I couldn't resist making another card using the lovely colour line-up at CAS Colours and Sketches. The diecut flowers, leaves and pot were water-coloured and the pot is covered with Glossy Accents.

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a nice weekend.

I've made a card using this week's beautiful colour selection at CAS Colours and Sketches. I would have had something to post sooner but I have to confess there was a lot of faffing about with this and trying different configurations of die cuts and so on. Anyhoo, I watercoloured the two die cut butterflies and added a frame and little stamped sentiment, simples! Can't think why it's taken so loooong, LOL.

Just a quick post to share a card with you and I'm still enjoying the smooshing with acetate technique. I scribbled with markers onto acetate and misted with water before smooshing onto watercolour card. The birds stamp is an old SU! favourite, Wetlands.

I've been playing with smooshing inks and here's something I've made using the smooshing with acetate technique. The flower was stamped and heat embossed in white and the colour intensified with some more ink and aqua brush.

HLS CAS, HLS AG with Dies, Less Is More, Time Out

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good week.

I started making this card a few days ago for Less Is More (colour challenge: mainly teal) but have only just had the opportunity to finish it today. 

I've added white die cut butterflies to the background to add interest but still keep it CAS, the butterfly stamps were inked with a marker and misted with water before stamping and I've added little touches of glitter to lift it.

AAA Cards, The Card Concept, Less Is More

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good week.

I wanted to play with the lovely Less Is More sketch again. This time I've combined it with the pretty Card Concept colours (Lime and Aqua) (clean and layered style inspired by the colours and flowers) and here's what came out.

Leaving the frame and background plain white just looked tooooo bare. I wanted to add some touches of colour - I do hope I've got the right balance of CAS-ness.

The stamped flower is water coloured with distress inks, so will also link up at AAA Cards where the theme is Watercolour.
