ATSM #88 - Holiday

Hi everybody, I hope you're having a good week!

This week's theme at Addicted to Stamps and More is "Holiday" -  create a project featuring a holiday of your choice which could be Easter, Christmas, New Year, any national holiday, a favourite holiday destination etc.

Our fabulous sponsor once again is STAMPlorations and the winner will receive a stamp set. Also, we're delighted to be joined by the very talented Anni as Guest Designer.

For my DT card, the basket and eggs were stamped in black Memento and coloured with Promarkers and blender pen and the panel was embossed with a little frame embossing folder. The bow was separately stamped, coloured and cut out with added button.

Card Concept #6, CAS-ology #87 and CTS#69

Hi everyone, I hope you're well and having a good day.

I'd like to show you a card made today using the Floral Frame die set by Memory Box. The floral frame, tag and five flowers were cut from white card. I scribbled 3 different SU! markers onto an acrylic block and used a little sponge to apply colour to the flowers. The sentiment tag is a bit small but I was able to find a little birthday sentiment stamp that fits and a touch of white Liquid Pearls was added to the flower centres.

Would like to link this to:

ATSM #87 - Make Your Mark

Hi everyone, and a big hello to new member, Natalie. I hope you're all well and have been enjoying the fine weather!

It's time to start a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week it's Make Your Mark - use pens, colour pencils, markers, paints and chalks on your project.

Our fabulous sponsor is STAMPlorations and we are very pleased to have as our guest designer the very creative and talented Anni

For my DT card, I've used SU! markers in three different ways.

1. For the background, scribbled on an acrylic block, sprayed with water, stamped onto the card and blended a bit with an aqua brush.
2. Scribbled the pens onto a craft mat and picked up colour with aqua brush.
3. Coloured directly onto the diecuts and softened with aqua brush.

Don't forget to check out the inspiration at the ATSM challenge blog and we look forward to seeing your beautiful creations!

ATSM #83 - Holiday

Hello everyone, I do hope you are well and having a good week so far!

Time for the start of a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and the theme is HOLIDAY - create a project featuring any holiday you like: this could be Christmas, Easter, New Year, any National Holiday or a holiday (vacation) destination.

We are so pleased to welcome the very talented Cathy as our Guest Designer this week and our generous sponsor is StampArt Design. Our Top Addict will receive a fab prize of 5 free digis.

For my DT card, I stamped and fussy cut the little holly sprigs and stocking, coloured in with Promarkers and attached them to a rectangle diecut. Stickles glitter glue applied to the hem and toe of the stocking (which can just about be seen on the zoom in). I resisted the urge to place it on a white card blank and used some coloured paper and embossing, hmmmm...

Please don't forget to check out the fabulous selection of DT inspiration over at the ATSM challenge blog and we look forward to seeing your holiday creations!

I'd like to link this card to Merry Monday - create a Christmas card with Holly on it and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra.

Muse #54

Hi friends, the second card I'd like to show you today was inspired by Therese's card at the Muse challenge blog. I've taken inspiration from Therese's colours, layout, flowers and watercolouring.

The roses, leaves and sentiment were heat embossed in gold which doesn't show up well on the photo. Here's a closer look.

Hummed and hah'ed about whether to use a coloured card blank, then settled for white with embossing for interest.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great evening!

For my DT card, I created the grass with torn strips of vellum, scribbled a marker on my non-stick craft sheet and picked up the colour with a duster brush (the cloud masks are diecuts) to make the sky, stamped and fussy cut the two little sheep by inking with a marker pen.

Would like to link my card to a few challenges. I've used the colours from CAS Colours and Sketches and the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch

At Make My Monday, the theme is "Love Is In The Air" and at Addicted to CAS - Love.

Today I have a card to show inspired by the colours at ColourQ which fitted nicely with the theme at The Card Concept to use Monochromatic Pink (in the style of Clean and Layering). It also seemed like a good opportunity to play with the PTI flip-flop stamps and dies which are fun to use.
