HOC Mth 2 and CQC#202

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a nice weekend. I've made this for House of Cards challenge. It's the second week using the sketch and the style this week is: CAS.

I've taken the lovely colour inspiration from ColourQ.

Stamps and dies I used are by WPlus9. Marker pens and coloured card by SU! The flower border was made using a Martha Stewart punch.

ATCAS #20 and ABC #40

Hi everybody, thank you so much to all who entered their beautiful cards in the Summer challenge! We were thrilled to see so many lovely entries.

Here is my DT card for Addicted to CAS where the new code word is "Holiday", chosen by the very creative Florence who is our hostess for the new two weeks.

Stamps I used are from My Island by Waltzing Mouse, inked with SU! markers and black Archival.

52CCT Colour Challenge #10

Hi everyone, my first ever entry at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. It's a colour challenge this week: red and gold.

As you probably know, metallic gold is really difficult to photograph very well. I've heat embossed one of the bells in gold, the lines going down are gold leaf pen and I've added a thin gold peel-off to edge the gingham. All stamps and dies by PTI. Stamps inked with Real Red marker by SU!

Dynamic Duos #65

Hi everybody, I've made this for Dynamic Duos. The lovely colours this week are Blushing Bride and Pistachio Pudding.

I first tried Regal Rose which was a little bit too dark, and then settled for Pink Pirohouette which is a warm pink and quite close to Blushing Bride which I don't have at the moment. All stamps and dies by Clearly Besotted. Wasn't sure about the ribbon in the end. I always think other peoples' ribbon looks great but mine never quite works!

House of Cards Month 2 and ABC39

Hi again, everyone!  I've made this for House of Cards: cute and fun using sketch and ABC Challenges: monochromatic.

This is my first entry for House of Cards, a lovely new challenge which started last month. Every month there is a new colour palette or sketch provided with the opportunity to make a card each week of the month in a different style such as elegant, cute and fun, vintage based on those colours or sketch. This week it's cute and fun and here's the sketch.

I thought it would be fun to make a card using the PTI Flippin' Out stamps and dies.

Less Is More week 131, Sister Act #18 and WAW #92

"Each moment of the year has its own beauty"

Hello crafting friends and members, I hope all is well with you.

I've made a card for this week's Less Is More colour challenge and here are the colours.

I masked off a panel with low tack masking tape, inked and stamped with various TH inks and added the little punched flowers. Branches stamp by Inkylicious, sentiment by Hobby Art.

I would also like to enter this in Sister Act Card Challenge #18: anything goes and Word Art Wednesday #92: anything goes.

Hi everyone, here is my DT card for this week's Addicted to Stamps and More challenge: Make Your Mark - use markers, crayons, chalks, watercolours or coloured pencils on your project and our fabulous sponsor is Nicecrane Designs.

For my card, I stamped the image and sentiment (Cat's Pajamas) in black Archival, coloured the image with watercolour pencils, blending with a water brush and the grass was made using a stencil.

ATCAS #19 - SUMMER

Hello everyone, I do hope you are all well.

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS and the code word is Summer.

Our fabulous sponsor is Inspired by Stamping who will be offering a generous prize to our CAS Perfectionist.

I had been waiting for what seemed like ages to get a set of PTI flip-flops stamps and dies and this seemed an ideal opportunity to use them. 

Colour inspiration was provided by ColourQ #200.

The stamps were inked using SU! markers. I didn't have any Midnight Muse card for the flip-flop straps so I began by cutting them from white card and colouring with the SU! marker but that came out too dark - it looked nearly black so I cut more in white and used the marker with an aqua brush but that didn't seem to be dark enough! Anyhoo, the sentiment is stamped with Midnight Muse.
