Word Art Wednesday and Twist of Faith

Hi everyone, this is a card I've made for Word Art Wednesday, challenge 47. You can save the WAW free weekly word/scripture art to your computer and use it in your entry but are not required to do so as long as you use an encouraging or uplifting sentiment on your project.

The Scripture verse on this card is one provided by WAW a couple of weeks ago, which I've printed out and coloured with Victorian Velvet and Antique Linen inks and added some squares of paper from the Prima Almanac collection. The flowers were stamped on the same papers with black Stazon ink andstamps from Dots and Flowers set by Hero Arts. Card Candi in the corners by Craftwork Cards.

I would also like to share this card on Twist of Faith challenge, week 4. This is a very new challenge blog, a place to share your uplifting, healing, inspirational and scriptural card creations.

Thank you for stopping by!

Greetings, everybody. Here are two bookmark tags I've made, starting with two manilla tags, adding colour with a Ranger distress tool and Tim Holtz distress inks. Have used various stamps and dotted pattern inking mask.

I would like to enter these into the Speedy Fox and Friends challenge 126 to use TAGS, either on their own or as embellishments on a card.

Also Word Art Wednesday challenge 47.

ATS Theme Challenge 3 (Spring)

Hi everybody, hope you are having a nice day. Firstly I have some news - I am sooo excited and honoured  to have become a new member of the very talented Addicted to Stamps and More design team. :) and will be starting to post as part of the DT in October.

The ATS challenge this week is SPRING. Yes it is Autumn here, but Kylie lives in Australia and it is Spring there. Spring in the UK is such a beautiful season with the pretty flowers and tree blossom so I wanted to make a card to reflect that.

I embossed some pink card with Spring Flowers embossing folder by Couture Creations, added a little lace doilie and cut a border, circle and some flowers from the Chanteuse collection by Kaisercraft. The sentiment stamp is by Inkylicious.

OLW challenge 106 and Craft a Scene

Hi everyone, One Layer Wednesday challenge this week is to use SPONGING.

Craft A Scene September challenge is to make a scene using TREES.

I've used tree and flower stamps by Katy Sue Designs, words stamp by Hobby Art.

I do find sponging quite a difficult technique and shortly after I had begun this card, I was feeling like I wanted to give up! Fingers were covered in blue ink and it seemed like I'd never finish. But in the end it all came together. I think perhaps I am using the wrong type of sponge. I use make-up sponges but would be grateful if anyone has any suggestions as to the best sort of sponge to use.

Thank you for all the lovely comments you have left recently. Its so encouraging, I do so appreciate them and it gives me a link to your blog so I can visit you! Thank you for stopping by, have a good evening.

Less Is More week 86

Hello everbody, at Less Is More this week, the invitation is to make a card with the recipe TAKE 3 CHALLENGES.

You can look back at the list of past challenges on the page at the top of the LIM blog and choose any three to combine in your project... if you fancy the theme of a One Layer Week... you don't necessarily have to make a one layer card for this particular challenge.

I've made two cards, one feminine, one maculine.

For the first card I chose: wk 5-  pastel colours, wk 15 - embossing, wk 76 - three of something

I embossed some white card by hand with a scoring board, and stamped with flower stamps from the Four Flowers set by Hero Arts, die cut sentiment by Craftwork Cards.

For the second card, I used the recipe: wK 7 - masculine, wK 9 - a touch of red, wK 22 - shades of blue.

I stamped with black Stazon using a coastal stamp set by Hobby Art, and water coloured with Aqua markers and water brush.

Thank you for looking!

Hi everyone, and a big wave and hello to new member, Ann-Elise.

I've been playing with my new stamp set Bordering on Romance (Stampin Up) again. Sentiment stamp by Craftwork Cards.

Embossed some purple and some white card, stamped with black Memento three times, coloured with Promarkers and decoupaged the three flowers, coloured and cut out one of the flowers separately.

Addicted to Stamps have their Bingo challenge this week:

For the above card, I chose PURPLE - SQUARE (card blank) - BIRTHDAY

Here is a second one - YELLOW - FREE (punch) - RIBBON

Thank you for looking and thank you so much to everyone who leaves comments!

CAS-ology Week 11

Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day!

I made this card by running a piece of white card through the Sizzix Embossing Boutique and attaching two white butterfly diecuts**. This is for the CAS-ology challenge Week 11 to make a card using WHITE.

**TIP: I don't have a die cutting machine but sets of diecuts can be purchased very inexpensively. It's handy if you don't want the expense of buying a machine but would like a few diecuts to use on your cards.

Thank you for looking!
