Speedy Fox and Friends challenge 115

Hi everyone, this is a card I've made for Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 115 to make a blue and green card.

I had in mind to make something completely different using a new stamp I bought recently and some vellum, but as I needed to make a quick thank you card for someone, I made this. Hopefully I will have time to do my original idea later!

All materials by Craftwork Cards.

I used the Spring Fling template to cut some flowers and leaves out of embossed card from the Sweet Pea collection, stamped the butterflies using Tim Holtz distress ink, added a little banner with a stamped sentiment and some Card Candi.

Sweet Pea card 5

Another card with the lovely Sweet Pea collection by Craftwork Cards.

1. Cut two pieces of cream card 7" x 5.5" inches and cut a rectangle aperture 2.5" x 4" in one piece.

2. Cut out a scallop edge on the shorter ends of both pieces (optional).

3. Make score lines 1" and 2" in from all four of the shorter edges (to enable you to form your "box" shape).

4. Add a panel of embossed paper in the back of the box and two thin panels down each side on the front as shown in the photo and cover the front of the box with the striped paper.

5. Add some more of the paper and some die cut flower shapes to the back panel.

6. Apply adhesive to the scalloped edges and stick the front and back together.

7. Punch a scallop from the embossed paper and use it to mount your message. Decorate with Card Candi.

Sweet pea card 4

Something to make with those little left over pieces you may have from your crafty stash (I used Sweet Pea Collection by Craftwork Cards). I really like the pretty soft colours of this set.

1. Cut a square piece of card, round off the corners, ink the edges and cut an arch door shape aperture.
2. Add a strip of the coloured paper at the bottom and make an arch shape door using some of the coloured paper and little strips of the embossed squares.
3. Cut a flower pot shape from an embossed square, add some little punched out flowers and leaves and a sentiment and mount onto a square card blank.
