Flowers

Hi everyone, hope all is well with you. Would like to show you a card I've made for a few challenges. I stamped the flowers in black Memories Ink and coloured with Promarkers.

Inspiration for layout taken from Vicki's Muse #66 card, theme and colours from ColourQ #240, Inkspirational #55 - Pink and Green and STAMPlorations - May challenge: Stamps and Flowers.

This is actually "mark 2" of the card. The first one had some twine and a different sentiment, however after DH told me the sentiment (which was placed just above the flowers) looked like a "weird spiders web" I decided I had to redo it! I have to admit I do struggle with getting a sentiment in the right place so I hope this looks OK.

Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day xx

Supplies
Lily of the Valley and sentiment stamp - PTI

Muse #54

Hi friends, the second card I'd like to show you today was inspired by Therese's card at the Muse challenge blog. I've taken inspiration from Therese's colours, layout, flowers and watercolouring.

The roses, leaves and sentiment were heat embossed in gold which doesn't show up well on the photo. Here's a closer look.

Hummed and hah'ed about whether to use a coloured card blank, then settled for white with embossing for interest.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great evening!

Supplies
Roses and leaves stamps - Simon Says Stamp
Sentiment stamp - WPlus9
Gold detail embossing powder
Cuttlebug embossing folder
WPlus9 rectangle die
Clear embossing ink
Tim Holtz distress inks

Muse #21

Hello everybody, here is my card for this week's Muse challenge. The fabulous inspiration is provided by Therese Calvird.

I've used a canvas textured card blank and stamped the leaves directly onto it. The PTI Rosie Posie stamps were inked with SU! markers and I've added some sequins and punched butterflies (Nellie Snellen). Sentiment also by PTI.

Thank you so much for looking!

Muse #19

The love in your heart wasn't put there to stay. Love isn't love till it's given away.

Hello dear crafting friends, I hope you're having a lovely weekend.

This is my second entry for the Muse challenge. I have to admit I was reluctant at first to make a card using the WPlus9 Folk Art Florals set (as lovely as it is!) because I've posted two cards made with this set quite recently and wanted to do something different. But then I thought, oh well, it's such a nice fun set to use, and this card is quite different (I think!) from the others which you can see here and here.

The gorgeous Muse inspiration this week was provided by Michelle. Don't forget to visit her fabulous blog!

I don't have any large birthday sentiments so used a sentiment stamp by Inkylicious and turned it on its side.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today!

Muse #19, Color Throwdown #244 and SOC

Hi everyone, I've made a card for the Muse challenge #19 based on this beautiful card by this week's Muse, Michelle Williams.

Colours from Color Throwdown #244

I've taken inspiration from the general layout of words encircled by flowers. This is a one layer card, using PTI Daydreamer stamp set inked with SU! markers.

This is also for The Sisterhood of Crafters - Say It Loud. Make a card or project using only a sentiment, no images or pictures.

Thank you so much for looking!

Muse #18

Hi everyone, I've made this for Muse challenge #18 and the card inspiration is this beautiful card by Marion Vagg.

I've taken inspiration from the layout and funky colourful flowers.

The Penny Black flowers stamp was stamped with black Memento, coloured with Promarkers, sentiment by Lawn Fawn.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Muse #14 and Crafts 4 Eternity #120

Hi everyone, and a special hello to new members, Deepti and Anita.

The beautiful inspiration at Muse this week is by the talented Virginia Lu and here's my interpretation.

I've used various flower stamps by Stampin' Up! and sentiment by Clearly Besotted. Had lots of fun stamping this.

Would also like to enter this at Crafts 4 Eternity: Use lots of flowers.

Thank you for visiting and have a nice day!
