ATSM #73 - HOLIDAYS

Hi everyone, the theme at Addicted to Stamps and More is ... HOLIDAYS  (not necessarily Christmas, use the theme as you would like!). This is a new theme challenge, which is replacing the colour challenge.

Our generous sponsor for this week's challenge is Deedee's Digis and our Top Addict will receive a fab prize of three sets of digis from their store.

For my DT card, I've used the Catalina Wreath die and decorated it with little snowflakes cut with Snowflake Burst. I think this card looks better IRL as you can't see from the photo that the wreath is cut from white glossy sparkle card and the snowflakes have silver sparkle.

Here's a close-up.

The ATSM design team have a fabulous variety of projects to show you, so don't forget to pop over and check it out and we look forward to seeing your lovely creations and visiting your blogs!

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Festive Friday - Create a project incorporating a snowflake into your design
Inkspirational - #44 Anything Goes
Make My Monday - Contemporary Christmas

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit today. Have a great week.

Supplies
Catalina Wreath and Snowflake Burst - Memory Box
Embossed sentiment - Hunkydory

Fusion #10 and Clearly Besotted Stamps challenge #1

Hi everyone, and a big hello to new member, Maudieroff!

I've made this card for two challenges, firstly Fusion using the colours from the photo and layout from the sketch.

Also, for the first ever Clearly Besotted Stamps challenge - Anything goes as long as you use at least one Clearly Besotted product. I've used one of the dies from the Leafy Accents dies set and a sentiment from the It's Your Birthday stamp set.

The flowers were made using a Memory Box cherry blossom die, colour washed with some TH distress inks and aqua brush.

Not a brilliant photo, the light quality isn't very good today :(  The scoring on the bottom of the card is really hard to see, sorry.

Thanks for stopping by!

Less Is More week 122 and The Play Date Cafe #184

Hello, lovely crafters and bloggers.

This week's Less Is More challenge is a colour challenge - use the colour of your front door and here is my card. My front door is white with a Georgian panel in the top half which I've used as inspiration

This week's lovely Play Date Cafe colours - Smokey plum - Cherry Blossom - Lava also provided inspiration and the flower is made using Memory Box Cherry Blossom die (window die also by Memory Box).

For the panel behind the window, I inked using a little sponge and 3 TH distress inks - Dusty Concord, Victorian Velvet and Barn Door, then splashed with water. Sorry about the shadows on the photo, it's that time of day!

Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely evening.

Addicted to Stamps and More #45 - Photo Inspiration

Hello dear crafting friends, and welcome to new members, Sylvia-Anne and Beverley.

It's time to start a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More, and this week we have fabulous photo inspiration. Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Whoopsi Daisy who will be awarding a prize to this week's Top Addict.

I have made two DT cards to show to you - one using dies and one using stamps, taking the window and flowers from the photo inspiration and here's what transpired.

My first card was made using Memory Box window, branch, leaves and flowers dies and TH Coredination card and the "wooden panel" was embossed with an EF then sanded to create the wood effect.

For the second card, I used Poppies stamp and lattice embossing folder by Stampin' Up. After  stamping with Sepia archival ink and colouring in with SU markers, I added some TH distress inks with a little sponge, cut the image into 9 squares and mounted onto the embossed panel inked around the edges with TH distressing tool.

Please do check out the wonderful creations that the other ladies on the design team have made and we hope you've been inspired to play along this week.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Addicted to Stamps and More #44 - CAS

Hi everybody, I can't believe it's already time for the start of a new Addicted to Stamps and More challenge! It only seems like the other day that the colour challenge began, where has the time gone. Anyhow, this week's theme is CAS and our wonderful sponsor is Whoopsi Daisy.

For my DT card, I began by finding a rather nice piece of DP by DCWV and used a Memory Box border and Sizzix butterfly die. It also seemed like a good excuse to use my new aqua twine. With the addition of a stamped sentiment, there we have it, a quick and easy CAS card.

Please do check out the gorgeous cards by the other ladies in the DT and we are joined this week by two new team members, the very talented Deepti and Sandie.

We hope you've been inspired to join in and look forward to seeing your fabulous creations - anything goes so long as it's CAS!

Blue bird cage

Hi everyone, this card is for Fusion #5 using the photo inspiration.

Birdcage, bird and vine dies by Memory Box. The flowers were made using a daisy punch and white card with Daffodil Delight sponged on the edges and small flower punch with cream card. Yes, it's another attempt at making flowers (I can hear the groans in the background lol!), you never know, I might get the hang of it one day.

Also for ABC Challenges #27 Tic Tac Toe: punch-flowers-dry embossing

and Dynamic Duos #51 - Daffodil Delight and Baja Breeze (2nd entry).

Less Is More week 111

Hi everyone, hope you are having a good weekend!

At Less Is More this week, the challenge is FRAME IT!  Some part of your design should contain a frame of some description, it could be stamped, drawn,  doodled, die-cut etc. I've used a Sizzix die cut for the frame.

I think my card looks rather better "in the flesh" but that's probably due in large part to my inept photography.

I've cut various Memory Box flowers and tinted them softly with TH distress inks.

Thank you for looking!

CAS - Colours and Sketches #11

Hi everybody, and a big hello to new members, Kristie and Maureen.

This week at CAS - Colours and Sketches it's a colour challenge ...

I was hoping to make two cards today as I haven't blogged anything since Tuesday, but time seems not to have allowed me to do so ... was out this morning at coffee morning, a friend called round this afternoon (which was nice) and the supermarket food delivery arrived ... hey ho - there's always this evening ...

My card was made with Memory Box dies. I used SU! Perfect Plum card and substituted some kraft and cream card from my stash for the other two colours. I wasn't sure whether to edge the main image with the Plum or Kraft - I settled for the Plum as I think it makes the flowers "pop" more.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
