Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge 153

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to new member, Stampsnob.

The Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge this week is to make a card using a SENTIMENT ONLY (die-cuts and punches OK).

For my card, I used backing papers from Meadow Lark collection by Prima, three die-cuts and a Martha Stewart punched border, sentiment stamp by Stampendous.

Less Is More week 78

Good evening, all. Less Is More has a sketch challenge this week.

I stamped the bird and grass images onto a piece of white card and embossed in white (stamps by Craftwork Cards), dabbed some distress ink onto my non stick craft sheet, sprayed with a little water and rubbed the piece of card into the inks. When dry, add a little more colour with a distress tool and voila! A little punching by Martha Stewart and sentiment stamp also by Craftwork Cards.

Speedy Fox and Friends challenge 112

Hi everybody, this is my card for the Speedy Fox and Friends challenge 112 to make something vintage (only just in time!).

The background paper is by Teresa Collins, I have used a Martha Stewart punch to punch around the image, the blue panel is a piece of Coredinations card embossed with a Darice folder and Sizzix Texture Boutique, stamps by Inkylicious and have used my new punches which both punch and emboss to make the flowers.

Happy Birthday Card 2

"Birthday Wishes"

The image is stamped with a bird stamp by Stampavie which I think is a lovely stamp for Spring cards and coloured by painting with Tim Holtz distress inks. **

The frame is made from white card with the edge punched using Martha Stewart corner & border punches and the edges inked.

I covered a card blank with pink paper and then used some other papers to make the flower by cutting out three layers using the Spring Fling template and added a Card Candi (both by Craftword Cards) and added a Craftwork Cards message.

** TIP:: To paint using ink pads, tap your ink pads onto a large white ceramic tile and then they are easy to blend and paint with using a water brush. If they dry overnight, they can be refreshed with a little water and clean-up is easy with a wet wipe or tissue.
