Addicted to Stamps and More #113 - Holiday

Greetings, everyone! This week's theme at Addicted to Stamps and More is ... Holiday! Create a project using a holiday theme - could be Christmas, Easter, other national holiday or a vacation destination.

Our generous sponsor is Eureka Stamps and the fab prize is a choice of 3 digis from their store.

For my DT card, the character was stamped with black Archival, coloured with Distress Inks, then fussy cut around and mounted on a DP panel.

Don't forget to check out the awesome DT inspiration at the ATSM blog and we look forward to seeing your holiday projects and visiting your blogs.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and have a great rest of the week. xx

ATSM #83 - Holiday

Hello everyone, I do hope you are well and having a good week so far!

Time for the start of a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and the theme is HOLIDAY - create a project featuring any holiday you like: this could be Christmas, Easter, New Year, any National Holiday or a holiday (vacation) destination.

We are so pleased to welcome the very talented Cathy as our Guest Designer this week and our generous sponsor is StampArt Design. Our Top Addict will receive a fab prize of 5 free digis.

For my DT card, I stamped and fussy cut the little holly sprigs and stocking, coloured in with Promarkers and attached them to a rectangle diecut. Stickles glitter glue applied to the hem and toe of the stocking (which can just about be seen on the zoom in). I resisted the urge to place it on a white card blank and used some coloured paper and embossing, hmmmm...

Please don't forget to check out the fabulous selection of DT inspiration over at the ATSM challenge blog and we look forward to seeing your holiday creations!

I'd like to link this card to Merry Monday - create a Christmas card with Holly on it and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra.

Less Is More week 156

Hi everyone, my card for today is for the Less Is More challenge, and this week it's a sketch.

Here's how I made my card:

1. Tear two strips of white card, ink the edges, attach to card blank and add Glossy Accents and WOW white puff embossing powder and heat.
2. Cut penguin and hat diecuts, colour penguin and add some more puff embossing powder to make bobbles. When bobbles are dry colour with a distress ink marker. Add sentiment.

[edit: apologies for accidentally posting last night without the card. When I realised I would have to wait til this morning to take a photo, I thought I'd saved the post as a draft.]

Would also like to add this to:

ABC Christmas Challenges - B is for Bare minimum - minimum embellishments

Supplies
Stamps and dies - Clearly Besotted Let It Snow
WOW white puff embossing powder
Barn door distress ink and marker - Tim Holtz

ATSM #78 - HOLIDAY

Hi everyone, it's time to start a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week's theme is "Holiday".  Please enter your project relating to any Holiday of your choice which could be Christmas, Easter, New Year etc, a National Holiday or a holiday destination which brings back fond memories!

Our generous sponsor is Deedee's Digis who will be awarding a fab prize to our Top Addict of 3 digi sets of their choice from her store.

For my DT card, I've used the Catalina Wreath die which I am enjoying using. I cut two from white card, attached one to the card blank, cut the three largest flowers from the other and popped them up on the card. The poinsettia was cut from embossed white card.

Don't forget to pop over to the ATSM challenge blog and check out all the DT inspiration and we hope you can join in the fun!
