Inkspirational GD

Hello everyone, happy Saturday! I feel very honoured and happy to have been invited to be Guest Designer at Inkspirational and the theme this time is CAS.

I made my card by masking off a panel with low-tack masking tape, sponging on distress inks, stamped the poppies and sentiment in black Memento and coloured using distress inks and aqua brush.

Why not pop over to the Inkspirational challenge blog to see all the fabulous DT inspiration and we hope you can join in!

Would also like to link to Time Out #7 (Summer with the optional twist of flowers),  Artful Times #57 (CAS) and Curtain Call (Something Simple).

Have a lovely weekend! x

Snow Bird

Hi everyone, hope your day is going well! I've had fun with stamps and ink this morning and made a Christmas card.

I began with a white card blank, heat embossed the flourishes in white, stamped some text and snowflakes and inked with TH distress inks. The bird panel was made with a circle die-cut stamped with the snow bird in sepia Archival ink and coloured with distress inks and touches of glitter glue.

This card is for some challenges:

Merry Monday #78 - Christmas Bird
Artful Times #40 - Feeling Distressed
Inkspirational #41 - Anything Goes
Nonni's Card Challenge - Stamp a Happy Christmas

Thanks for stopping by today!

Blue and white

Hi everyone, one of my favourite techniques at the moment is to stamp and heat embossing with embossing powder and then sponge ink over the top of the image.

To make this card, I first made the snowflake background by stamping a snowflake (Penny Black) several times and heat embossing with white embossing powder and using a Ranger distress tool to ink over the top with Ranger Faded Jeans ink.  I did the same with the Christmas tree stamp (IndigoBlu) and the word "Christmas" (Penny Black).  The word "happy" was made with little punched circles and an alphabet stamp set.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Speedy Fox and Friends challenge 125 to make a card using a favourite technique

Creative Card Crew challenge 19 to make a card with a TREE

Artful Times challenge 13 to make something featuring a TREE as the main focus

Thank you so much for looking!
