Butterfly shaker

Just slipping under the wire at CAS Mix Up (2nd birthday) with my third acetate creation and first ever shaker card.

The photo didn't work out too well as the artificial light was reflecting on the acetate and making the background look a bit fuzzy. So, anyhow, I stencilled a background using colour inspired by the Toppings (Teal and White) at Seize the Birthday.

Also linking up at Time Out - Inspired by Words.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Have a lovely weekend.

Beautiful shaker card Sue!! What a great idea to stencil the design in behind the butterfly aperture. That geometric design is just perfect! Love the added sparkle from the sequins. Thanks again for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

I'd never have known this was your first shaker card - it's fabulous! Such a good idea to use the butterfly die cut and then to stencil the design inside it. Love the way you have the two sequins on the card front to echo the ones inside the shaker! Thanks so much for making another card for CAS Mix Up!
