CAS Mix Up and NBUS

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good weekend!

The theme at CAS Mix Up is Stamping + Corrugated Cardboard, not something I use very much (the corrugated cardboard, that is) but hey, it's a challenge!

A bit of a happy accident occurred as the croissants I bought a few days ago were packed in wavy corrugated card and I happened to recently purchase a two-part leaf die so I put the two together and hey presto!

I highlighted the ridges of the corrugated with some gilding wax and cut the overlay from gold foiled card.

Also joining in at NBUS - Anything Goes (used new leaf dies) to celebrate Darnell's 5-year blog birthday!

Wow, this is stunning. I would never have known this was cardboard as a base. The script background is a lovely backdrop for this. Great card!

This is such a beautiful card! I love what you did with the leaf. Also, how did you do the background script? It looks like water color. Thank you for sharing! I would love to get your take on my projects seen on my new blog - thecraftycritter.com. I am always looking for feedback from a fellow crafter.
